What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Married in CA currently in MA.

We were married two years before and we both want Divorce. We dont have any loans , mortgages or any debts and NO child.

We both are sitting together right now and trying to learn the procedure to get seperated.

We want to know What are the steps to get Divorce?

Thank you.

It ought to be pretty easy for the two of you if you have little to nothing to divide, and no child custody issues to deal with.

You could do it without an attorney, but if you used one you might not even have to appear in court. You could draw up an informal agreement as to who gets what, give that to an attorney who can put it in legalese, and let the attorney submit it to the court. Odds are it would not cost all that much.
