I've been with my husband for 3 1/2 years. He put the house in his name before we got married. We've been married a little over a year. I have an 8 yr old. Is he responsible for anything and what?

You've only been married a year? The house is in his name only? Is the 8 year old child his?

If the child is his, and you get custody, you will get child support. If the child is not his, he is not legally responsible for the child, as the biological father is responsible.

A year is not long, don't count on much, if anything other than what is in your name.
