What am I intitled too

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Florida my soon to be or not so soon to be ex and I are having an issue over a settlement that she is entitled to because of a car wreck I have not asked for money but would like whatever i am entitled to put in an account for the kids education is there any way to include this in a divorce settlement. two part question also i gave up the house no questions but the second mortgage is in both of our names and has not been paid on time since i left anything i can do to save my credit ? all help or suggestions appreciated
