What if he's lying?

What is the name of your state? Illinois

My friend was told by her attorney to file for 'Exclusive Possession of Property' and get an order of protection while she's waiting for the divorce court date. Husband has threatened to burn the house down, and has only his own name on the policy. When she went into court, the husband of course said 'I never said that'.. and it was ok then by BOTH the attorneys. The husband is a perpetual liar, which she's said over and over again to her attorney that already $3000 from her, and the attorney is just letting it go. What can she do to help herself? HOW do you find an attorney that actually cares? and will actually fight FOR you?
