Here's my situation. Been married for 12 years. I have five children. We own a house which is under both our names. I work full time. I understand that there doesn't need to be a reason or fault so I'm not sure what kind of detail should be brought up.
my situation has become more intense because I have a "fan" who insists on geting into my personal business. I have a friend who has been my support system and encouragement to take the next step. We have frequently been seen having lunch together and now it's everyone's business why. Anyway this person will not identify himself to me but is calling my home, when I am off work but away, and leaving threatening messages on my answering machine saying he's going to tell my husband "what I'm doing". Today will be D day according to him. I called a friend who recorded the message for safe keeping. What will this do? It's only an accusation one which is false.
This phone call is the final nudge to call a lawyer but it will be a few days before I can sit and talk.
Does this clown need to be addressed during my consultation? I need good, sharp questions that are relevent to the situation. If you need more info I will be happy to supply you with any info you need to advise me accordingly.
thank you |
The main problem that this "clown" is going to cause is that he/she may ratchet up the hostility between you and your husband to a higher level than would be there otherwise. Yes, you should probably mention it to the attorney, but don't spend a lot of time on it.
