I am wondering...I am in the process of filing for a divorce.... My husband cheated on me, can he be forced to pay my legal fees?

I am not sure about KS but if the state is a NO Fault divorce state there would be no consideration for cheating.

Also, cheating would not really be a reason for requiring one party or the other to pay attorney fees.

The final judgement has many considerations and is entirely up to the judge. You do have the right in your divorce decree to ask for your husband to pay your fees.
