What is the name of your state? NC I want to divorce my wife. She says that she will not leave the house. I pay all the bills, including the mortgage. I do not wish to have to move myself. Is there a way I can get her to move? We have 2 teenage girls, and they have both indicated in the strongest possible terms that they wish to remain with me,, and do not want to live with their mother.

Thanks

You file for divorce and custody, and ask that you get to keep the house. Expect to pay her a settlement amount equivalent to her portion of the equity in the house (when other assets/debts are factored in).
