What is the name of your state? Georgia
I have worked for my husband for the last 8 years. He started his business, and I have helped him run it. technically i am not an owner, but have performed all the duties as if i were. Do i have an recourse if I get fired? We are getting divorced and I know its not possible we will remain friendly and nice. I have worked for my husband since i moved to georgia. I have no other contacts, and would not be able to do the same job for anyone else. At one point i tried to go back to school, but he said "he didn't sign up for that"... so bsiclly I am going to go from running a business, to working at wal mart. Is there any help?
