My buddy got a protection order (DVO) amended because he proved to the judge that she was lieing, butt he judge wouldn't vacate it. Since it is only amended he is still not allowed to own a firearm. He want's to know if this also includes a police issued side arm and if he will be allowed to have his sidearm (issued by his police department) in his residence. He is in the process of becoming a state trooper.
