    Can a private citizen serve a restraining order in a courtroom ?

    What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

    Can a restraining order be served to someone in a courtroom?

    Provided the party conducting the service is lawfully allowed to do so (in most cases that would mean they are not a party to the matter in question on the papers), I do not see why not.
