did not appear in court restraning order

Got a court restraning order from someone in which Court also asked to appear in a hearing on a date in November. Same day evening that
someone calls me and tells that was by mistake and he is
going to take it back. I was relieved and forgot about it. Now
last night I got a voice message stating that I violated court
order and need to hand myself over a police station on 12/15.
Please advise ASAP.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
