DV 2 counts Lawyer costs

What is the name of your state? Washington
I am considering paying for legal counsel for a DV charges that I have pending. It is against my wife and I and the state. My wife is willing to work with the defense. The attorney wants to charge $5000 for both counts and looking to get both charges dismissed is this a fair range or high?
