False Imprisonment/Domestic Assault

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MN

I had to call the police on my boyfriend of a year and a half because he wouldn't leave me alone. He was not preventing me from leaving anywhere, I was walking down the street and he was drunk and being beligerent. He tried to take my phone away at which time there was a mild struggle. The police showed up after I walked away to call 911. They got there and immediately arrested him, no questions asked. I told them I was completely unharmed and just wanted him to be taken away from me for the night. They wrote a statement saying I told them I had been drug for 30 seconds across the sidewalk and that he tried to keep me from calling them. Neither of which I told them. My boyfriend sat in jail for 2 straight days and they filed an order of protection against him on my behalf, without my request. We are allowed no contact and now he might be getting a felony because of this situation. Is there anything I can do? They told me it's out of my hands and the state of MN is pressing the charges. If I don't testify against him, charges will be pressed against me. I never said those things to the police officers!!!! How do I make this right? Thank you!

Yep. You can drop that abusive loser and move on.

That is correct. There are a lot of people in abusive relationships that claim "really, nothing happened" AFTER being abused and seeing their 'honey' hauled off in handcuffs. So, many that the states have revised their laws to remove the 'recanting victim' (because "He/she really REALLY loves me!!") from the situation and rely on the statements of the on-scene officers as to what was evidenced and told.

Right. So this is a huge conspiracy that the on-scene officers are simply making up this... and never heard it from you or witnesses (if any)?? What reason can you give that the officers would frame this dweeb??

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
