What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

If I were to file a petition for a restraining order on behalf of my children against an individual, can all children be on the same petition or do I have to file separate petitions for each child?

It depends on the state, but in general in WI you need to file a separate petition for each person, regardless of whether they are an adult or child. It's a easy process and since it's TRO, there isn't any filing fee. You can find more information of the Wisconsin Department of Justice website here: http://www.doj.state.wi.us/cvs/Victims_Rights/restraining_orders.asp
