So my ex which is now oddly my best friend lives out of state, I live in CA she lives in North Carolina. We talk all time time even though I have an order against her. I want to get it removed but I filed it back in NC. I can't fly there to take it off and the order is set to never expire, so basically it's for life. She was a no show at the trial. We have both moved on since then and this whole drama filled crap was about 6 years ago and I just want to remove the order. I don't want to here crap about the situation I just need to know if there is a way to get it done by phone or mail? Thanks

Contact the courthouse where the order was made and ask them. County rules and procedures are going to come into play.
