Injuction Order

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I have a injuction order against me and has been in place for almost
( 2 ) years. I work in the security field which requires a firearm. I have
worked odd jobs, but money is running out. I was offered a manager's
position at a gunshop. My question is can I find myself in legal trouble
cause I will be around firearms/ammo ?

What is the exact wording of the injunction?

What caused the injunction to be issued?

Have you been convicted of any type of violent crime, including a misdemeanor?

The order stated I must turn over any and all firearms/ammo to local
law enforcement. I can not have in my posession any of the above.

I was convicted of simple battery over 7 yrs ago. I also have a concealed
weapons permit not saying that over rules a judge just saying, I am legal
to have a firearm by state law. With the background check they do they
have found me fit to carry and own a firearm.

Injuction was placed against me by my ex wife. Her statement in the request
for the order was only to keep me away from our son. She said I was a threat to myself and may also hurt our son. ( The judge said that this was a family law case and not a criminal case ) He advised her to file in family court to motify our visitation arrangement. She at that time said, if you are going to through dirt, your honor he held a gun to my head and I am in fear of my life. The judge at that time issued the order and made it permanent.

It has been almost 2 yrs. she has done nothing. I see our son almost 50% of
the time. I also moved over a hour away about 1.5 yrs ago. She never filed anything. She has in the past 5 yrs. file 2 other injuctions and they both were
dropped. ( Different judge )

Any Help Is Welcome !!

If you have a court order that says you are not to own or possess firearms, you are not to own or possess firearms per state and federal laws. Even with a CCW you cannot carry a weapon.

You will need to return to court and seek to have the order removed if you want to be around firearms.
