What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I do not plan on contesting my wife's request for the Personal conduct order, or the stay away order.

She mentioned in her statement that I stated that I would hurt someone other than herself.

Should I hire an attorney because of the statement, or just complete the response form and show up at my court date?

if you hire an attorney, hire one to protect you, not because of that one statement made.

complete the response, show up at court. if you feel she said something that was incorrect, then state why she is incorrect in your response.
