What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

I believe that my sister (46 yrs old) is being abused by her husband. The problem is, I am several states away and have no proof. They say she is suffering from Fibromyalgia and the affliction and medication are contributing to her black outs (causing bodily harm). Her husband has disassociated, the both of them, from the rest of the family. No loss by not talking to him but noone fully understands what is going on. Requests for a signed HIPAA form to allow anyone to talk to her doctors have been denied.

Please help. Is there anything I can do???

What makes you think she is being abused?

You can visit and talk to her. Many relationships have dynamics involving some form of subjugation or abuse. Determining whether they are unhealthy or dangerous requires more than a telephone analysis.
