My husband is in the army. We have been married for almost 15 years. His first wife cheated on him with a fellow soldier. He walked in on them. He didn't do anything he just walked out. Well the other soldier got nervous and told her that she needed to tell them that he hit her. She did he got into trouble. She then went and told them he didn't do anything to her. Well 10 years ago he was going to be a recruiter and they told him he couldn't cause he was on some domestic violence list. And that there was nothing he could do. He has since become a warrant officer. This year they did background checks on all the warrants who were up for promotion. He was sure he was going to make it cause he has done all his courses he needed and got awesome OER's well he didn't make it. And he think it's from what happen with his first wife. He never had any charges against him and was not arrested. Is there anything we can do to get him off this list? And do they have a right to even put him on a list?

What happened when your husband asked the question directly to his superiors?
