please explain stay away order

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? georgia
is a stay away order the same thing as a restraining order? we have read that it simply means that the person to whom the order was issued "may not meet or contact in any way" the person on whose behalf it was issued. If the alleged vicitm (I know first-hand that is a false charge, as i witnessed the event) lives in the same house as the alleged abuser, does this mean that he cannot come home? Must he stay outside the property lines, a certain number of feet distant, or what?
