PLease HELP! I Lied!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

I lied to the police about my fiance hitting me and he is locked up for it. I found out the i could fill out an affadavit to release him however,

1. Does a signed affadavit admitting I lied releases him immediately? If not, how long does it take?

2. Where do I go to sign this form?

Please help. You can see the full story in my previous post. I'm just trying to rectify this problem.
