in december 2000 I and my 17 year old daughter got a protective order against her x boyfriend who was mentally and pysically abusing her for over a year. Now my daughter just turned 18 this month and says she wants the protective order dropped because her and her x are talking again. Can this be done by her since she is 18 now? I, her mother, filled out the form for the order and it is signed by me. Thank you,
