What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
Maybe I'm overthinking, but can I take like 8000 out of the 11,900 we have in the bank. There will be another 4000 going in in a week, but I don't want any part of that, the house, the camper, the other 2 vehicles. All I want is my car and enough money to start over and live until I can start the legal part & get started in a new job near my daughters. I'm so afraid to take the money.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

if you are married and it is a joint account, then you can take the money out.

You can take it...but you will have to account for it in the marital property settlement.
