What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Louisiana.

I was arrested on the above charges recently never touching or threatening my wife of 3+ years. She didnt want me arrested nor did she want to give a statement but the officers made her as all she wanted to do was take the baby and leave. The ADA tells her when she goes to drop the charges that based on my priors that he is going to punish me because I have never been punished before.

95' Disturbing the Peace Plead guilty My Dad had me arrested

96' DUI Plead guilty My fault dumb mistake

98' DV Assault (released no charges filed, someone who wasnt even in our house called the police) Didnt do nothing

03' issued a summons as during a fight a female was bumped, eventually got a letter from the DA stating that everything went away for whatever reason. Cant say it did or didn't happen; but it wasnt on purpose if it did.

So this guy wants to see me punished for everything above all over again and ecspecially the things I didnt plead guilty too.

Does this sound right? Can he do this?

Where can I get a copy of my police record?

Where can I get reccomendations for a criminal defense lawyer in my area?

Oh yeah the wife has been having an affair and she did this so she could use it against me in a custody battle. Now that we are trying to work through it she regrets calling the police. She also immediately bailed me out.
