What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? california
I know a person that got arrested for attacking her husband for taking her phone, the injuries resulted on the husband were scraches to the face , neck and back and a bite mark on his back breaking the skin. the police arrested her and now she posted bail. at first the arrest was a misdemenor arrest , but now the DA says it's a felony arrest, first time offence
now prior record of any such behavior. what are her option?

She needs an attorney.

If she has been charged with a felony (likely PC 273.5(a) - domestic battery with corporal injury) then she needs an attorney. The most likely end result for a first offense will be counseling, probation, fines and fees, and maybe a protective order either preventing contact with her victim, or, limiting it to "peaceful contact."
