I have been on probation for 5 months now. I am off april 9 2008 so about a month. I am under 7411 so after april 9 i will have nothing on my name. I just applied for a job and when it asked if i have been convicted of a crime i said no. I said that because the first day I saw my probation officer, she said "are you convicted of a crime?" i replied "no" then she said "wrong! your not because of 7411"

is that true? I don't want this job to think i lied on the application. Do you even think they will look at my background? Im a freshmen in college and on the Dean's list. This job is in my old town and will be a summer job. Should I just wait till after april 9 to turn in my application?

thanks
