Im in California, I was Arrested and my charges are Felony Possesion(HS 11350)
and a Misdamenor under the influence of a controlled substance (HS 11550). I had no prior record at all. I was wondering what is possible sentancing for these charges, and if i qualify for the The Deferred entry of Judgement program or prop 36.? Also do i get to choose or is it chosen for me? Which is better in my situation and what are the main differences between the two?

Thank you for your time/advice.

You should be eligible for Prop 36 if you have no priors and only face those offenses.

Check with your attorney (be he paid by you or assigned by the court) and ask about Prop 36 if you intend to seek a plea deal.
