3 of my friends live in an apartment together and decided to throw a small party (maybe about 10 people). A couple of them got into an argument which generated a noise complaint. The cops showed up and entered the apartment without knocking or informing us at all and charged us all with underage possession of alcohol. He saw nobody drinking, but empty beer cans lined along the wall. He made us dump the remaining beer and issued the tickets. Are they allowed to just walk into the apartment? And can we all get charged with the possession? Any help would be appreciated.
