What is the name of your state? Missouri
I have a friend who son has been arrested. He lives in another state and ask me this question. The son is in jail in Missouri.
The question is if he puts up front all the Bond Money instead of going through a Bail Bondman and after the young man has gone through the whole court proceeding and no matter how it turns out does the father get all his money back from the court ??
Thanks

It's hard to say what the fine will be if he is found guilty w/o knowing what he was arrested for, etc.

if he is putting up BOND money, he isn;t getting any of it back. If he is putting up BAIL money, he will get whatever is left after any fines and admin fees are taken out of it.

a bond is in effect an insurance policy which you purchase. The seller of the bond will then pay the court the total amount of the bail if need be.

bail is the total amount of the fee required to allow one out of captivity pending the trial.

There are times in which the courts can fund their own bonds. (after all, it;s our money they are gambling with) In the event of the need to revoke the bond, the responsible party would then owe the total amount of the bail to the courts just as they would a bondsman.

make sure what your are paying for.
