What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Mexico
My niece who was 18 years old at the time was convicted 5 years ago of possession with the intent to distribute. Her case was dismissed after one year of not being in trouble. Can we get her charges removed completely from her record? She would like to go into some branch of the government, but with this on her record, it will never happen for her.

There are three branches of government...

What exactly do you mean?

Do you want for her to get into the military?

If yes, has she spoken to a recruiter? They would be the best to tell you how to get in despite this problem...

If you mean get a govt. job... having a criminal record does not automatically disqualify you for many, if not most govt. jobs.
