My daughter is 24 and has been charged in two different counties with possession of crack cocaine and driving under suspension. She had her time in one county commuted down to a fine and serving out some time in drug rehab. In the other county she has 180 days in jail pending. She was to start serving after she got out of rehab. She didn't go. Now in a third county she was picked up and is being held pending charges of possession and making meth. They found a "portable meth lab" in her trunk. A guy was driving her car. Turns out a third person was in the car and seems he was the snitch. Supposedly the driver was the main target of the cops, the snitch was setting him up, and my daughter happened to be there also. She says she didn't know about the trunk, but did have the presursors in the glove compartment. Police are now saying they want to charge them both with class b felony, mandatory 10 years in jail. Lawyer says this will be a tough sell to the courts to get her off. Advice???
