What is the name of your state? South Carolina

My son had a severe drug problem but has been clean and attends NA religiously for 4 years. Problem is: about 5-6 years ago he was arrested in SC and charged with possession of cocaine - 1st offense (1st in that state - he has approx 10 arrests and convictions in NC). He then skipped town after a bondsman posted bail. As a result, there is an outstanding arrest warrant.

So, how can he / we go about addressing this - charges and bondsman? What are the risks if he does nothing? (He lives in Florida now).

Thanks.

He needs to hire a lawyer and turn himself in.

How can you call someone "clean" who is a felony absconder?

What step number is that?

She's mistakenly substituting the word "sober", which as you rightly point out is not a synonym.
