cops ask can we search your car?

What is the name of your state? New Mexico. Police pull Aaron over because of a nearby robbery, then police realize Aaron has a stolen generator and ask question him . Then cops ask if they can search his vehicle. Aaron replies no you cant, the cops do anyway. They find some drug parapphenilia and aresst him for receiving stolen goods and possession. does the possession charge hold water?What is the name of your state?

Upon viewing the stolen item in your car it gave them probable cause and after that anything goes thanks to our stepped on constitution. sorry you are SOL:(

cops didn't need his permission to search his vehicle. Cops alredy had probable cause the second they realized that he was stold something.
