What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I've had a prior drug charge and was granted DEJ to try and erase my felony... I completed the program and was supposed to stay clean of drug charges for 18 months and it's only been 8 months. I'm wondering what's going to happen to me... they JUST gave me a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana. About a quarter's worth.

Will I be able to take prop 36 instead of jail/prison time? If I take prop 36 and COMPLETE it... will I still have this prior felony on my record? Or would the new misdemeanor just be erased...

They already told me I have to go to the police station to get pre-booked or something before I go to court. I'm scared... please help. I KNOW I'M A **** UP AND I WILL NEVER GET INVOLVED WITH DRUGS EVER AGAIN PLEASE HELP...
