Just curious if I can get my license reinstated early for a minor misdemeanor for possession of marijuana first offense, can I appeal to the court to get it back early? It gets reinstated in November.

In Ohio, it is possible to petition the court to have a driver's license reinstated for limited purposes IF the license was suspended by the court as part of the sentence and is not a suspension imposed by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

A license will not be reinstated early if prohibited under ORC 4510.13 (http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4510.13) or under ORC 2919.22 (http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/2919.22).

If your license suspension was a court-ordered suspension instead of a BMV-imposed suspension, the court may reinstate your license early for occupational, educational, vocational or educational purposes, or to take a driver's examination or a CDL examination, or to attend court-ordered treatment.

Here is a link to the law, ORC 4510.021, which went into effect on September 13, 2016: http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4510

I haven't checked but I believe your license might be a BMV-imposed suspension, which means you will have to wait to November to get your license back.

Quincy gave you great information, but I feel the need to point out that the chances are that it will be November (at the earliest) before the matter is even heard, so it's probably best simply to wait it out.
