What is the name of your state? Illinois

Hello,

I am an ex-felon contemplating expungement or pardon for drug charges (after other charges were dropped I was left with a Class 1 Felony Delivery) I was convicted for in 2001. I have served my time (1.5 months + 4 months of impact incarceration) and have finished parole successfully and have had nothing other than a couple traffic warnings and tickets since then. Since being released, I have also attended and completed college (3.0 GPA, BS in Accounting) and held an (almost) full-time job (35+ hours a week) at the same time.

I would like to know what options I have before I consult with a lawyer and a little bit more about the expungement or pardon process and how much time and money I should expect to spend on all this. Also, any comments in regards to the possible outcome of an expungement/pardon request based on the above information would be appreciated.

Thanks!
