My friend and I were ticketed in Zion National Park in Utah for simple possesion of marijuana. We were each given a ticket and have to report to federal court. Does anybody know what the typical fine and or penalties would be in this case. It is both our first offense of any kind. We are also wondering if we would need to get a lawyer or is this just something we can take care of ourselves. Thanks
