Oklahoma was the state arrested in for:

POSSESION OF CONTROLLED DRUG WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE
POSSESS FIREARM WHILE COMMITTING FELONY
POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

I am told Oklahoma has some of the strictest drug laws out there.

Attorneys we have spoke with tell us that they will argue if 4th amendment rights were violate...and other technicalites.

Arrest was by 2 highway Patrol officers...

anyone have any input on what the arrested party is facing?

How long he could be in prison depends on prior criminal history, specific code sections charged, and the leniency from the court. Suffice it to say that, he could be in prison for many years.

At least two and up to ten years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Misdemeanor. Up to 1 year in jail and up to $1000 in fines.

No other priors, do have a drug charge pending in florida, misdemenor, for possession of marijuana less than 20 grams.

The charge in oklahoma is for 3.5 pounds of marijuana.
