felony expunge?


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? california,13 years ago in 1996 i was charged and convicted of felony poss. of narcotics ,meth/with intent/ i completed my program,did 6 mos jail and comepleted my prob, all successfully, i havent had any further arrests for any alcohol or drug related problems since,and am not on any prob, or nothing,what is the expence, and also,what do i do to start the process of felony exp. i need to do this by june 2010, mainly to land a great job,

You will have to file for a reduction of the offense to a misdemeanor pursuant to PC 1203.4 and then request it be expunged. Note that this does not mean that the government cannot read it, only that it will no longer be reportable to most employers and you should not have to ever declare you were convicted of that crime again.
