first day of PTI, probation. what to expect??

What is the name of your state? NJ

I live in NJ and have my first day of pti which is my 12 probation tomorrow and was wondering what to expect? What will happen and how long will I be there?

Your probation officer has the keys to the jail.

Do exactly as he or she says.

The terms of your probation should already have been explained to you. If they have not, request this of your probation officer, as he/she will be the best resource you have at this point.

Don't know how NJ (or your jurisdiction) handles it specifically, but you can expect to have any or all of these happen:

1. Wait around
2. Fill out paperwork
3. Go over the conditions of your probation
4. Get your photograph taken
5. Be fingerprinted
6. Be urine tested
7. Be given a bill
