first time ever arrested

GA. Boyfriend was set up for a deal. They got him in the parking lot then came and searched my car found a small piece of crack sitting in my cup holder. They got me for possession of cocaine and boyfriend wants to claim it.

Also, be careful of talking to the police without a lawyer. Because if you both know the crack was there but your BF owned it, you can BOTH be charged with possessing it.

we were both charged with it.

He is wanting to go to my hearing with me to claim it. He has been telling them it was his the whole time but they are still charging me with it
