I would like to know Florida's Statute of Limitations when it comes to a 1st degree felony drug charge. The person in question was charged with the crime and fled the state. He never appeared for his trial and has a warrant out for his arrest. I need any information available on this topic.

The statute of limitations is a restriction on how long the state can take to charge you. Once the state charges you, there is no time limit on when they can arrest you. In other words, you do not get rewarded for evading arrest.
