What is the name of your state? California.

If you get a indictment due to a falony and the indictment is not right , like they got their story all wrong. can the case be dismissed over that?

Thank You,
Martha

What do you mean by the indictment not being "right"?

If a person is accused of a crime, they mount a defense in court against the charges alleged. An error on the printed indictment is not going to change things.

indicdtment

no not a error on the printing. They said only one felmale cop searchthe person but there was tow female cops and the second cop was never mention at all. she was the one who handle everything and the other felmale cop said she did it all and she did not do anything.

Any discrepancies need to be brought up in court at trial. If the issue is relevant, it may cast doubt on the issue ... if it is not relevant, it probably won't.

And that is not the "indictment" that sounds like the report. In court, the report will not matter so much as the testimony of the involved parties.
