Juvenile- 14g of marijuana w/ intent to sell (need advice)

I was caught driving in Illinois and the officers found a half ounce of marijuana with a scale (which actually wasn't even mine, it was in the car from a few months ago). There was no other paraphernalia such as baggies, rolling paper, etc.. I'm 17 years old. They called my father to the scene, talked to him, and then let me drive home. They didn't handcuff me or anything, but said I have a court date. I have never been charged with a criminal offense, have good school records, and I'm just not really a troublemaker.

What will I be charged with most likely and what will the punishment(s) be?

Will this effect my chances at getting into a good University?

If convicted of a drug offense, unlikely unless you are rich or are willing to wait a couple of years.
