What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I was arrested over 5 years ago as a minor for possession of marijuana and went through a diversionary program. I was never officially convicted of anything. I'm now applying to law school, and I'm trying to figure out if I need to disclose this information - some schools ask about arrests, but many simply ask about convictions. I've heard that it's better to just disclose since you can get in trouble later when trying to get admittance to the bar and I certainly don't want to be deceptive, but clearly I'd rather not disclose if it's unnecessary. Any of you smart lawyers know what I should do?

Thanks in advance :)

The bar tends to be pretty lenient. Disclosure is going to be necessary as even expunging a record will not hide it from the bar.
