Is it legal to recieve Marijuana seeds in the US? In Wisconsin? In NY?

I want to know if it is illegal or legal to recieve marijuana seeds in the US? More specifically in Wisconsin or NY? Can the police track them? Do they?

ILLEGAL....yes they can track them if they so desire. Do they? Better yet, are you willing to take that gamble?

If customs intercepts them at the border, the intended recipient gets a notice that they were confiscated because illegal. Even that is rare because seeds are small and not easily found if the sender takes some care in packaging. I have never heard of a case of the police tracking the seeds to someone's door and then arresting the person.
