im sorry, i double posted this

So 2 1/2 weeks ago i got caught with less than a gram of weed on me on school grounds. I go home and they said they would contact us in a couple of weeks to determine the punishment. 1 week goes by and they say that it is not serious enough to take to court, so they will handle it locally.

another week goes by and according to my mom, they told her that i will not be put on probation. My mom tells me that they said i wont be put on probation, but they told my mom that they will call her randomly over a 4 month period to have her (my mom) drug test me herself and then bring it into the police station.

Now i thought this was a bit odd, so i question my mom by asking her why the police dont just drug test me themselves, or have me come into the police station so that they can administer it and not my mom. (Assuming they did that, then they are just trusting my mom, which doesnt seem very proffessional. but hey what do i know, no sarcasm intended)

To me it sounds like my mom is lying to me so that i wont keep smoking weed. these are the reasons...

-i dont think the cops would have my mom drug test me, and then have her personally bring the urine sample in.

-4 months seems too long for the offense? correct me if im wrong

-i had told my mom i wouldnt smoke weed until after my probation was up, so i think this is her way of keeping me off of it, scaring me?

-I will be 18 in 2 months.

now i respect my mom, and i understand why she would do this. but what do you think? would the police do anything like this? is my mom just trying to protect me?

i can accept the fact that i need to stop smoking, but i would rather her just tell me straight up rather than lie to me.

You are extremely lucky you are still a snot nosed kid. In two months you'd be spending 10 days in jail for having drugs on school grounds.

Four months is a walk in the park for probation.

Grow up. Stop breaking the law.

why dont you shut your mouth and actually answer the question or not answer it at all.

dont try and get all personal with me telling me how lucky i am because i know im lucky.

i can tell your one of those people that just likes to find criticism in everyones posts so im not even going to argue with you.

P.S. im pretty sure almost everyone else posting in this forum is looking for legal advice because they too broke the law.

if your mom is doing that herself..then it just shows that she really cares about you and doesn't want you doing drugs. weed is a gateway drug so be careful, because thats how it starts.

as for the probabtion, you better keep off any kinds of drugs for the next four months cuz u never know, ur mom might actually be telling the truth!

you people obviously dont read my whole post. since when did i ever say i was going to continue smoking weed. in fact here ill quote something you were too lazy to get to...

so please dont be judgemental, the only reason i had a bad attitude against that one post is because it didnt solve anything.

the only question i really wanted answered was if it was possible that the police would do something like this. thats all, no need to get personal with me and my habits. which btw im changing
