Marijuana possessionI was recently pulled over in Nevada because an officer thought I was sleepy, after checking my driving license and finding it clean he then asked if I had any drugs in my car? I told him no. He then asked if he could search the car, I told him no. He then sent for a dog which showed little interest but obviously enough for him to go ahead and search the car. In my case in the trunk he found a quantity of marijuana and gave me a citation. On the citation he has listed me as Male but I'm Female, does this void the citation and was it legal for him to even search my vehicle? |

| The fact that he made a mistake like that does not matter. I would however look into the reason you were stopped. You will have to wait to see the police report and discover what he has written for the reason for the stop, than go from there.goodluck. |
