What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

i was recently charged with Misdemnor possesion of marijuana, the public attorny told me to plead no contest, so i was sentenced to 6 months probation, 24 hour community service and 1,200 in legal fees plus drug treatment. this is my first and only offense. The payments the court arranged are to high for my family to afford. My girlfriend just gave birth to a baby girl, and i already have a 2 year old. we are extremly tight is terms of money. is there anyway i can get the court to lower my fees? or am i stuck what the court arranged? :(

Did they explain the deal, fines, and drug treatment costs before you pled Nolo???

Yes, you can go back to the court prior to the due date and plea for more time or reduced charges, but you had better have proof of what you are saying.
