Hi, what happens when you were not charged with any form of drug charges when they were in your possession of arrest. It was also not on the notice to appear as a charge. Did the police officer just let it go?

He may have let it go OR the substance got sent to the lab to be tested to see if it is an illegal substance. It depends.

the have considerable time to actually file charges. Most crimes have at least a one year statute of limitations to file charges. Serious crimes have longer periods to file charges. Not being charged yet means just that. All you can do is wait the time the sol allows to file charges to pass. If no charges filed within that time, you are good to go.
